This classic, hand-built log cabin is an ideal Maine ‘camp’ - rustic, full of cozy antiques and comfy furniture, books and games, two bedrooms (one queen, and one with two twins), and an open knotty-pine living space. The kitchen is fully stocked and waiting for your family meals and memories.

Enjoy a hot cup of coffee while you watch deer stroll through the forest from the cozy front porch in the early morning. Enjoy quiet evenings by the private pond, while Canadian geese and mallards glide by. Pass the evenings with family board games or an outdoor fire. The forest offers peace, privacy, and a chance to truly unplug.

If you’re ever ready to leave, you’re just one mile from the rugged beaches of Reid State Park. Mile Beach, Half Mile Beach, the lagoon, and rocky cliffs are dotted with picnic tables, gorgeous views (and flush toilets are nearby!). Five Islands village offers one of Maine’s best lobster shacks during the summer, and Georgetown Island has a small general store, post office, and library. It’s truly a slice of rural Maine.
