"Maine: The way life should be... this is what we felt here!"

The Southern Midcoast offers some of the very best of Maine: rugged coastline, easy access to hiking and wilderness, and inviting downtowns teeming with small business and plenty of local flavor.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry - Bath

High summer farmer’s market in Bath.

  • Best Thai II: A great new addition to Bath’s dining options. Excellent curries and friendly wait staff. Kids welcome.

  • Byrne’s Irish Pub:  Great bangers ‘n’ mash in an authentic family-style old fashioned pub. Live local music and Sunday afternoon sing-alongs are a must-see!

  • The Cabin:  Cozy, comfortable, and easy-cheesy. The Cabin is the perfect remedy for the Friday-night blues, and the patio is the perfect nightcap to a day at the beach with the kids.

  • Café Crème: Our happy place. The long-serving staff are friendly, the coffee is local, and the treats (including maple-bacon cinnamon rolls) are plentiful.

  • Mae’s Café and Bakery:  Enjoy paintings by local artists while you feast on fantastic homemade cinnamon swirl bread or stuffed paninis.

  • Bath Brewing Company: Local brews and pub food in a beautifully restored downtown building.

  • Burano’s Pizza: Delicious wood-fired specialty pizzas with a great outdoor patio and often featuring live music.
